last bread crumbs
ducks move away ─
kid‘s angry stare
nebėr trupinių
antys nuplaukia tolyn
vaikas pravirksta

I like this, but I wonder about the anger. It seems more likely to me that he would be disappointed. But I guess it would depend on how old he was.

Quite right Polona, and the anger is because some kid's think every thing have to go there way all the time.
Nice poem Ricardas.

Great image! I love it! I've been there.

I also think the kid partly thought the ducks enjoyed his company. Sure, he knows they wanted the bread to eat, but I guess he didn't expect them to just eat and run, I mean swim.

i understand the disappointment. i hate running out of bread. it's too bad the ducks won't hang round to be petted.

Catnapping, I agree, they are so cute, it would be amazing if more people could pet them, and without getting snapped at. You got lucky to experience petting those ducks.

Thank you for that very cool and touching duck story you left in my comments to the post from the link below 'with the bread gone'.

Everybody should go read it. It made me misty.
