I like this, but I wonder about the anger. It seems more likely to me that he would be disappointed. But I guess it would depend on how old he was.
Quite right Polona,and the anger is because some kid's think every thing have to go there way all the time.

I also think the kid partly thought the ducks enjoyed his company. Sure, he knows they wanted the bread to eat, but I guess he didn't expect them to just eat and run, I mean swim.

i understand the disappointment. i hate running out of bread. it's too bad the ducks won't hang round to be petted.
Catnapping, I agree, they are so cute, it would be amazing if more people could pet them, and without getting snapped at. You got lucky to experience petting those ducks.
